Re-Framing

I increasingly see this project aligned with the notion of "the things they carry"...and in particular, the two things I feel myself wanting to use the NSC folks to illustrate:

1. The way NSC study participants carry the diverse relationships to and experiences with academic literacy that adults bring to their coursework. (I need to read more to be able to frame this--particularly, read about academic literacy itself...thinking here of the Geisler book).
2. The way NSC study participants carry diverse experiences with and relations to workplace or professional communities of practice and genres of writing.

These are what I have to offer and show. These are what I must/will write about.
