Had an idea today that perhaps the way we'll close Part 2 is Coffi and Sarah, who is pregnant, run off together and end up at Rome Point. They end up in the little wooded section at the end where they are going to camp out or hide for a few days for things to cool off, but a storm blows in and that section of Rome Point is cut off from the way back and they are stuck there and then maybe one of them drowns or someone dies or something...? Not sure I have it all worked out yet, but I know this area well and it presents an interesting location for an ending.
